Biography
Urban Echoes emerged from the vibrant hip hop scene of Tondo, Manila in 2019. The collective consists of four core members: MC Truth (lyrics/vocals), Beatsmith (production), Lyrical Flow (lyrics/vocals), and DJ Scratch (turntables/production).
Their music addresses social issues, urban life, and the struggles and triumphs of growing up in Manila's diverse neighborhoods. With a commitment to authenticity and raw storytelling, Urban Echoes has quickly built a dedicated following in the Philippine hip hop community.
After releasing several viral singles on SoundCloud, the group was signed to AIR MUSIC PH in 2022. Their debut mixtape 'City Lights' showcases their unique blend of traditional Filipino musical elements with contemporary hip hop production and thought-provoking lyrics in both Tagalog and English.
